FRANCISCO COLOANE MARINE PARK
The Francisco Coloane Park is the first marine park in Chile, located southeast of Carlos III Island, its extension is 67,000 thousand hectares , the main attractions are: the Jerónimo Channel, the Tortuoso Pass, the Ruppert Islet, the Barbara Channel, Seno Ballena and Isla Santa Inés with its Glacier.
This place is a feeding point for humpback whales, which can be seen in late spring and autumn, you can also see sea lions, petrels, cormorants and southern dolphins.
The Marine Park is surrounded by mountains, glaciers and forests of lengas and coihues.
